2024 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Program for Graduate Degrees

 

Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea for graduate-level degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

 

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Denmark is delighted to announce it is accepting applications for the 2023 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Program. The scholarship will allow the successful candidate to study in Korea at master's degree or doctoral level.

 

1. Master’s Degree Program: 3 years

- 1 year of Korean language program

- 2 years of degree program

 

2. Doctoral Degree Program: 4 years

- 1 year of Korean language program

- 3 years of regular degree program

 

3. Research Program:

- 6 Months or 1 Year

  

And Benefits of the scholarship include:

- Airfare

- University Tuition fee

- Settlement Allowance

- Monthly Allowance

- Medical Insurance

- Degree Completion Grants

- Language Training Fee

- Research Support Fee

- etc.

 

The deadline for the application is Friday, March 15, 2024

 

All applications are to be posted or directly handed over to:

 

 Embassy of the Republic of Korea

 Svanemøllevej 104, 2900 Hellerup


And selected applicants will be invited to an interview at the Korean Embassy.

 

Candidates selected by the Korean Embassy from the interview will have their documentation forwarded to NIIED (National Institute for International Education) who will make their final decision.

* Applicants must have Danish citizenship.

* Applicants are required to submit ONE set of original documents + THREE sets of photocopies. And original documents must be submitted as the document that received the apostille.

* The grades converted from the original score into 4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 5.0 scale or 100 Point Scale are valid only when officially endorsed by the university (including the school official seal)

* If an individual student converts the grade scale on "scholaro.com", "wes.org", etc., it is valid only when officially endorsed by the university (including the school official seal)
