2025 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Program for Graduate Degrees
Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea in pursuit of academic degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Denmark is delighted to announce it is accepting applications for the 2025 Global Korea Scholarship(GKS) Program (Embassy Track). The scholarship will allow the successful candidate to study in Korea at master's degree or doctoral level.
- Master’s Degree Program: 3 years (1 year of Korean language program + 2 years of degree program)
- Doctoral Degree Program: 4 years (1 year of Korean language program + 3 years of degree program)

The total number of grantee is 1 person in Denmark.
The deadline for the application is Friday, February 28, 2025.

* Applicants are required to submit ONE set of original documents + THREE sets of photocopies (Total 4 sets).
* The original documents must have the apostille.
The results of the FIRST round of selection are expected to be announced on 11 March.
- Selected applicants will be invited to an interview at the Korean Embassy.
The results of the SECOND round of selection are expected to be announced on 21 March. (Dates are subject to change)
- Candidates selected by the Korean Embassy from the interview will have their documentation forwarded to NIIED (National Institute for International Education) who will make their final decision.

* Only applicants under 40 years old(born after September 1, 1985) with Danish nationality can apply through the Korean Embassy in Denmark.
* A person who has graduated (or is expected to graduate) from a Korean high school (including international schools) or a Korean university is NOT eligible to apply.
* A person who has previously received a scholarship from the Korean government is NOT eligible to apply.
* Documents required to submit original documents must be submitted as the document that received the apostille.
* The grades converted from the original score into 4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 5.0 scale or 100 Point Scale are valid only when officially endorsed by the university (including the school official seal).
* If an individual student converts the grade scale on "scholaro.com", "wes.org", etc., it is valid only when officially endorsed by the university (including the school official seal).
