Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Mission of the Republic of Korea to the African Union

On 3 July, Ambassador Jung Kang attended a ceremony marking the donation of rice to Ethiopia through the World Food Programme (WFP), facilitated by the Korean government. He also toured the WFP's logistics warehouse.

※ Since 2018, the Korean government has annually provided rice to support Ethiopia's humanitarian needs. In 2025, a total of 12,000 tons of rice was donated. This donation will be used to support refugees in the Afar and Somali regions.
