The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) of the Republic of Korea is planning to run the 「2025 AKS Graduate Fellowship」 for six months from September 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026. Those who are interested in joining the program, please submit the online application(gradaks.recruiter.co.kr) from April 28 to May 9, 2025. The detailed guideline is attached.

    ※ The 「AKS Graduate Fellowship」 is non-degree program which invites international graduate students in Korean studies to support them for six months.

o Fellowship Benefits : Monthly stipend of KRW750,000; An economy-class round trip airfare; and on-campus guesthouse (free of charge)

o Eligibility

  - (Nationality) either a foreign national or a Korean national who has completed education outside of Korea

  - (Educational Background) Applicants are enrolled in a Master’s or a doctoral degree program; or completed coursework and are in the status of ABD (All But Dissertation) in a Master's degree program

     ※ ABD students in a doctoral degree program at an overseas university are NOT eligible.

  - (Research Topic) Korea/Korean studies
