  Around 200 students attended the lecture and many students showed their keen interest in a wide range of issues related to Korean such as the prospects of unification, possibility of the advent of a multilateral security mechanism in the Northeast Asian region and issues related to the Korean Peninsula.

  As University of Edinburgh is preparing to launch a master’s degree program for Korean studies in 2019, Ambassador Hwang met with Professor Kim Youngmi, who is at the heart of this process, and the Korean students studying in the university.

  In the evening, Ambassador Hwang attended the Dinner hosted by the Chancellor Princess Royal.
