Ambassador Enna Park visited King’s College London on March 5, and presented a lecture to 100 students on the recent developments on the Korean Peninsula. Amb Park explained the outcome of the recent US-DPRK Summit as a step back for a leap forward and underlined that Korea will make every effort to facilitate further progress. On the sidelines of her visit, Amb Park had a meeting with Vice-Chancellor Ed Byrne and professors engaged in Korea studies to discuss ways to foster cooperation between the Embassy and the College. After her talk, Amb Park and embassy staff attended a dinner hosted by Vice-Principal Funmi Olonisakin and spoke about Korea-UK cultural exchanges.
