Ambassador Enna Park attended the online Korea Peace Forum co-hosted by the Korean Embassy in the UK and the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC) in the UK

In the afternoon November 28(Sat) Ambassador Enna Park attended the Peace Forum on the Korean Peninsula which was jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the UK and the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC) in the UK via online and delivered an opening remark and a concluding remark.


Jong-bum Park, Vice-Chairman of the NUAC Europe and Sir Ed Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party delivered congratulatory remarks and Lord Browne of Ladyton delivered a congratulatory remark and a concluding remark.


In the first session, there was a discussion under the theme of “Northern Ireland Peace Process and Inter-Korean Relations” moderated by Professor Sojin Lim of University of Central Lancashire, and presented by Professor Dongjin Kim of Trinity University, and Professor Kyungmook Kim of Waseda University and David Mitchell of Trinity University participated as debaters.


In the second session, there was a discussion under the theme of “The Role of the International Community to Build Peace on the Korean Peninsula”, moderated by Professor Youngmi Kim of Edinburgh University, and presented by RPI Chairman Michael Schluter, and Professor John Delury of Yonsei University and Professor Jinho Zong of Handong University participated as debaters.


Many people attended the forum, and the panels presented various and insightful opinions, and the event ended successfully.
