☆ Must Read Before Application: General Information for visa


○ Eligible Applicant

• A person who plans to visit Korea as tourist


※ Nationals of countries* which Korea has signed a visa waiver agreement can enter Korea without visa, on the condition that they do not engage in remunerative activities during their stay. They are required to apply for K-ETA(https://www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do) instead.

  * Including Greece, Cyprus and Albania


○ Period of Stay: Maximum 90 days, single entry valid for 3 months


○ Requirements 

1. Visa application filled and signed by applicant (Attachment 1)
2. Passport which is valid more than 6 months (original and 1 copy)
3. 1 photo taken in recent 6 months(3.5*4.5 cm, white background)
4. Visa fee: Euro amount equivalent to US$40

5. Original bank statement for the most recent 3 months from the application date

- Salary slips/Pay slips/Cash/Credit card/Debit card statements cannot replace the bank statement. The pay slips can only be used as a supporting document to your application.

- If you are a salaried or waged employee, you must include bank statements that show your earnings being deposited regularly. We do not give any minimum amount in the bank but the money in the account should reflect your capability to support your travel to South Korea.

-  In case of submitting sponsor’s bank statement instead, below documents are required

 a. Financial Support/Sponsorship letter

 b. Copy of the sponsor’s ID or passport

 c. Bank Statement (3 months with stamp)

 d. Proof of relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc)

6. Proof of status

a. Student : Proof of enrollment / Certificate of registration from school

b. Employee : A signed and stamped no-objection letter from the company which clarifies the applicant's purpose of visit to Korea along with the applicant’s full name, nationality, passport number, position, salary, working period etc. Do not also forget to include the name, position and contact information of the authorized signatory on this letter for verification purposes. (Original and issued within recent 1 month)

c. Self-employed : Business permit

d. Unemployed : Spouse/Child/Parent/Sibling's company letter, their passport copy, Original Family registration certificate with apostille (If it's not in English, notarized English translation is also required)

7. Tour details

- Detailed schedule of stay or your day-to-day itineraries (Describe freely)

(if possible) Flight/Accommodation reservation

8. (if possible) Invitation letter and Guarantee letter from Korean citizen/Long-term resident in Korea 

9. (in case you are third country national) Residence permit in Greece, Cyprus or Albania 

     - It must have passed at least 2 years from its issue date and has at least 1 year remain validity.



 Additional documents may be required.
