The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the State of Israel is excited to announce the application of the 2025 Global Korea Scholarship-Graduate degree program (GKS-G)!
GKS is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea in pursuit of academic degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.

The Korean Embassy in Israel will select THREE Israeli nationals for the GKS for graduate programs.

① Submission
- February 7(Fri.) ~ March 10(Mon.), 2025
- Number of documents to submit: ONE set of original documents + THREE sets of additional simple photocopies
- Please submit your application to the Korean Embassy IN PERSON during working hours.

* When you need to submit your application by post mail, please send an email to msshin16@mofa.go.kr for arrangement before posting the documents.

[FAQs]
1. Graduation Certificate
Applicants who are expected to graduate by July 31st, 2025 can also apply for the program with a certificate of expected graduation and grades for all completed semesters at the time of application. Such applicants must submit their official graduation certificate (or diploma) and final academic transcript to GKS Center, NIIED by July 31st, 2025. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your acceptance.
2. Apostille
As Israel belongs to one of the member countries of the Apostille Convention, you MUST get your documents apostilled. Consular confirmation by our Embassy is NOT available.
3. For a proof of Citizenship and Family Relationship, you can submit one of the below:
- Birth Certificate (Teudat Leida) with apostille and a copy of passports of applicant's parents
- Population Registry Extract (Tamtzit Rishum MiMerasham HaOkhlusin) with apostille and a copy of passports of applicant’s parents
