Notice

  • Visa applicants who use inappropriate language, commit an act of violence, or threaten the consular officer(i.e. throwing an object or exercising unjustifiable influence) are subject to up to 3 years of restriction from visa issuance.
  • In addition, visa applicants who provide false information or submit a forged/misleading document, he/she will be banned from visa application up to 3 years.
  • It is the visa applicant’s duty to be well-informed of the aforementioned regulations in order to prevent consequences of the violation.

Visa Information

Nationals of visa waiver countries and designated visa-free countries must obtain K-ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before entering The Republic of Korea as long as the purpose of their visit is tourism or temporary visit up to 90 days - this is the only way to go to KOREA without a VISA.

(There are [temporary] K-ETA exempt countries among the visa waiver countries and visa-free countries mentioned above. If your country is exempt from K-ETA requirement, there will be a pop up screen during your application process that your country is exempt from K-ETA. Please check by going through the application process at k-eta.go.kr)

Aside from the above case one must apply for the relevant visa that they require, if they want to engage in employment/profitable activity/study and etc.   ☞ K-ETA(click)
