D-2 or D-4 VISA (Student)

To applying for the VISA, you need to prepare below documents fully. You can apply only one month before school starts. Once you are ready, you can make appointment by Email(israel@mofa.go.kr). After the VISA interview, the Visa approval will take at least 7 working days.


 

< D-2 or D-4 VISA >

-Under graduate/ Graduate/ Exchange student/ Korean course-

 

1. Passport (If applicant is presented by an agent a Power of Attorney must be provided)

2. Passport photo : one photo  size: 3x4cm

3. VISA APPLICATION (Fully filled with CAPITAL letters and signed)

4. Certificate of Admission (By University)

5. Business license of the University

6. Syllabus of the course(D-4 Only)

7. Professor's recommendation letter(signed by the professor with the University stamp: Exchange students only)

8. Latest diploma certificate in English (with Apostille or Need to be notarized – red ribbon)

9. Latest 3 month bank statement in English (History of the 3 months including the balance which should be more than 10,000 USD)
- If the bank statement is belong to parents, there needs below.
(Copy of Parents ID card, Family relationship certificate by Israel government)

10.  VISA Fee 60$ (USD cash only): the fee waived for more than 90 days

11. Flight ticket reservation(Round trip)

12. Accomodation reservation (Dormitory assignment/reservation status or rental agreement)

13. Travel insurance policy covering the entire period of residence in Korea(Including the phrase that COVID-19 is also covered)



* Additional documents may be required by the Consul’s decision.

We will be holding your passport during the visa process.

Please type or print clearly when you fill out the Visa application form AND DO NOT FORGET TO SIGN AT THE BOTTOM.

Please prepare photocopy along with original documents if you want to keep the original documents for yourself after Visa process. Original documents submitted without their photocopies (except for the passport) will not be returned in any circumstances.

* Visa issuing process may take at least 7 WORKING DAYS.

* The required documents would be different as per each university.

* Please email your preference time to israel@mofa.go.kr for booking your visa interview before ahead of time. 

* Visa hours: 9-12 on Mondays - Thursdays

You cannot check your visa status by phone.
