<2022 Global Korea Scholarship Program for Graduate Degrees>

The Korean Government Scholarship Program sponsored by NIIED (National Institute for International Education) is designed to provide higher education in Korea for international students.

*Period of Scholarship: Korean Language course (1 year) + Master’s (2 years)/ Doctoral (3 years).

**Applicants who are interested in this program have to choose their preferred university and department from the 58 universities in Korea explained in the attached guideline and submit their application form with all the required information by the application deadline. ***Conditions:

ㅇ Iran born citizens whose parents are not Korea citizen.

Must be under 40 years of age as of September 1, 2022 (born after September 1, 1982)

※ Academic professors born after September 1, 1977, and under 45 years of age as of September 1, 2022, are also eligible to apply.

ㅇ For a Master’s program, one requires a bachelor’s degree or education similar to or higher than a Undergraduate degree.

ㅇ For a doctoral program, one needs a master’s degree or education or equivalent or higher than a Undergraduate degree.

※ You can also apply if you expect to graduate by August 31, 2022. In that case, you need to first submit a certificate of expected graduation. If you get the GKS graduate, you must submit the final academic transcript to NIIED before or by August 31, 2022.

ㅇ GPA more than 80% or the applicant should be among top students of their class – top 20%.

**First round result via E-mail on 2022.03.03. applicant will be notified whether you have been selected for the second round or failed.

***Please have in mind the number of applications are high and only people who are qualified in every way with better GPAs, language qualifications, well written study plan and etc, will be selected for second round.

****Before submitting your application place every document by the checklist, if the documents are not by the designated sort or lack necessary information you will be disqualified to apply.

*****Second round interviews will be on 2022.03.06 and you’ll be contacted about the result of the interview on 2022.03.07 (provisional)
