The 83th Test of Proficiency in Korea(TOPIK) Guideline

The Embassy of republic of Korea in Iran is holding the 83th Test Proficiency in Korea on Sunday 10th of July 2022. For those who are interested here is Guideline for applying:

~ Guideline ~

1. Application Method:

ⅰ. First Round: registration by Email (On a first come, first served)

- Please fill out the application form(Word format) in English and send it by email to 0011425083@mofa.or.kr with the subject line“83th TOPIK Application”.

* Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the number of people, and only those who are eligible for the first application round (350 people) can apply for the second round.

** No need to pay application fee for this round.

ⅱ. Second Round: registration by visiting

- Please fill out the application form in English and bring it for registration.

* No representative or attorney except than immediate family members are allowed.

2. Application Period:

ⅰ. registration by Email: 2022. 04. 26. ∼ 04. 30.

ⅱ. registration by visiting: 2022. 05. 04. ∼ 05. 12. (Sunday to Thursday, 08:30∼15:30)

3. Application Address:

- Visiting Address: No.2, West Daneshvar St. North Sheikbahai Ave, Mollasadra Ave, Tehran

4. Application Fee:

- TOPIK 1: 5,580,000 IRR

- TOPIK 2: 6,975,000 IRR

* If the written notice of cancellation is received by 4 p.m. on the last day of application, your application fee will be refunded basis on guideline.

5. Required Documents:

- Application Form, 2 Personnel picture (3cm×4cm), Application fee, Valid Passport or ID Card.

* For a handicapped person support bring a medical certificate or handicapped person certificate.

6. Result Announcement: 2022.8.18. (www.topik.go.kr)

- Free Download and print after Result Announcement through www.topik.go.kr

7. Time and Date: 2022.07.10. (Sunday)

8. Place: University of Tehran

- Address: Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Between 15th and 16th St, After Jalal Al-Ahmad Intersection, North Kargar St, Tehran, Iran.

9. Exam Targets: Koreans who have lived oversees thus have another first language and foreigners who study Korean as second language

■ Test Guideline:

△ Entrance time: Arrive 30 minutes before the start of the exam.

△ Prepared Documents: Admission ticket, Valid Passport or ID card , Correction Tape

(Valid Passport or ID Card and must include photo, date of birth and name)

△ Notice:

- Listening/Reading Answers must be written with a double-sided pen (distributed at the test center)

- During the listening test, only the listening answers, and during the reading/writing test, only the reading/writing answers should be written.

- All electronic devices such as cell phones must be turned off before the test and submitted to the supervisor

- After the application period, No additional applications are allowed.
