Quiz on Korea 2025

The preliminary round of Quiz on Korea 2025, a global quiz program co-produced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and KBS, will be held in Iran!

If you're interested not only in the Korean language but also in Korean culture, history, and society—don’t miss this opportunity to represent Iran in the final round in Korea!

■ Format & Schedule

- 1st Round (Online): Thursday, May 29, 2025 | 10:00–11:00

- 2nd Round (Offline): Thursday, June 12, 2025 | 10:00–12:30

※ The second round includes a quiz and an interview (evaluating Korean communication skills, talent performance, etc.)

- Final Round (in Korea): Sunday, September 7, 2025 | Broadcast on KBS as a Hangeul Day Special

※ The winner of the Iran preliminary round (1 person) will be invited to Korea for the finals (August 31 – September 8, dates subject to change)

■ Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 30, 2025 (Limited to the first 500 applicants)

■ Eligibility Requirements:

• ◇Must be at least 18 years old by August 31, 2025

• ◇Must be proficient in speaking and writing Korean

• ◇Must have basic knowledge of Korean culture, history, and society

• ◇Must not have participated in the final round in previous years

• ◇Must be available to travel to Korea from August 31 to September 8, 2025

• ◇Must not hold Korean nationality, and neither parent may be a Korean national

• ◇Those who do not hold Iranian nationality may still participate in the preliminary rounds, but even if they win, they cannot be dispatched to Korea. The final representative competing in Korea must hold Iranian nationality.
