The Embassy proudly hosted the 2025 Korea-Jamaica Future Cooperation Forum on September 18th, focusing on AI cooperation between Korea and Jamaica. In collaboration with the University of the West Indies, this forum was one of the Embassy's key public diplomacy initiatives for 2025.

The event brought together a remarkable gathering of industry leaders, academics, and students, all united in exploring new pathways for collaboration and strengthening the growing ties between Korea and Jamaica.

The 2025 Korea-Jamaica Future Cooperation Forum took an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. Through in-depth discussions, we sought opportunities for future cooperation and reaffirmed Korea's strong commitment to mutual cooperation with Jamaica. In particular, it was an encouraging moment to exchange ideas on potential cooperation measures in various fields, such as seeking ethical AI governance, strengthening capabilities, and enhancing resilience at the regional level for future generations.
