1. Description:

A. Notice: IT Equipment Purchase Project

B. Item Description:

- TabletPC(Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ 5G 256GB/12GB 12.4") (Qty: 55~60)

- TabletPC(Galaxy Tab S9 5G 128GB) (Qty: 60~65)

- Laptop(Galaxy Book4 Ultra) (Qty: 30~35)

- Laptop(ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9) (Qty: 32~35)

- Forensics Kit(Kolari Vision Z5 Full-Spectrum UV/IR Camera) (Qty: 30~35)

2. Bid Type, Selection of the Successful Bidders:

A. Bid Type : International Bidding, Open competitive Bidding

B. Selection of the Successful Bidders : Post-Qualification

- Based upon bid prices which shall be below the Estimated Price, but above the floor price of 80.945% of the Project Budget, the Qualification Examination will be conducted.

- Selection as successful bidder is determined, when the overall grade is higer than 85 points (the passing grade)

- Qualification examination will be conducted in accordance with the ‘Standards of Qualification Examination for Selection of Supplier’ and ‘Enforcement Decree of the Act on Contracts to Which the State Is A Party’

 

3. Qualification:

A. Business registered for the Embassy’s open bid must follow the procedures set out below and meet basic qualifications. (Decree Article 12 / The name of the Korean Decree is “Enforcement Decree of the Act on Contracts to Which the State Is A Party”.)

B. Business must hold an official and valid business license in Jamaica.

C. Business NOT related to any of these statuses : liquidation, merge & acquisition, disposal, legal composition, court receivership, and/or any type of legal disputes

 

4. Registration Due:

A. Bidding Registration : Monday, June 10th, 2024 by 6 p.m. (EST)

5. Bidding Result: Date after Monday, June 17th, 2024, to be individually contacted via email/call

 

6. Expected price: US$ 406,440 (Quotes should be a price below US$ 406,440.00)

 

7. Evaluation Criteria: The evaluation method will be as specified in Annex 1 (Evaluation Criteria)

 

8. Contract Schedule:

A. Contract signing : Within 7 business days from the bidding result announcement

※ If the successful bidder makes a contract within 7 days after the bidding result announcement, the deposit payment will be waived.

※ When the successful bidder does not wish to continue concluding the contract, it is required that the bid deposit (which is waived at registration; 5% of the bidding price) be paid to the Embassy (*Decree Article 37 & 38).

B. Expected period: June 2024 ~ Sept 2024

 

9. Nullification of Bids:

A. Applicants that do not meet the stated qualifications will not be considered for this bid.

B. Applications with insufficient, forged and counterfeit documents will not be considered (*Decree Article76).

C. In accordance with the Article 20 of KOICA Instructions to Bidders and the Article 18 of KOICA Regulations for International Procurement, this bid may be nullified.

 

10. Others:

A. All applicants obliged to be fully aware of information regarding the process. The Korean Embassy is not responsible for any issues arising from misinterpretation by bidder.

B. The Korean Embassy promotes transparency and fairness in contracts (*Decree Article5-2), and a successful bidder must sign ‘Pledge to Implement Integrity Pact’ and ‘Confidentiality Agreement’.

C. Quotations shall be done in United States Dollar (USD).

D. The bidder shall submit only one Bid.

E. The Korean Embassy may request contract deposit and/or security deposit for defect repair according to the *Decree Article 37, 50, 62.

F. Any difference of interpretation would follow the interpretation of the Embassy.
