The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) has provided the following information regarding the GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) Graduate School Track for Master’s or Doctoral programs in the field of Korean Studies. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply.

• ●Programs: Master’s or Doctoral degree programs

• ●Majors: 13 majors in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences related to Korean Studies

• ●Scholarship Benefits for Foreigners and Overseas Koreans: Round-trip airfare, tuition, language training fees, and monthly allowance (Language training: KRW 14,400,000/year, Degree program: KRW 16,560,000/year)

• ●Eligibility: Nationals of GKS invited countries – TOPIK score is not required / Please refer to the attachment for the quota by country

• ●Note: Applicants for the Master’s program in Korean Cultural Studies must possess an official English proficiency score (TOEFL 80 or 4.5, IELTS Academic Module 6.5 or higher).
