Grand Opening of Lotte Hotels and Resorts Yangon(9.8)

Grand Opening of Lotte Hotels and Resorts Y...angon, built by POSCO Daewoo, Posco E&C, Lotte Hotel, Mirae Asset Daewoo and local IGE Group, a local operating corporation called Daewoo Amara Project was held on 8 September 2017. In addition to POSCO and Lotte dignitaries, H.E. U Ohn Maung, Minister of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar, H.E. U Phyo Min Thein, Chief Minister of Yangon Region and Mr. Jung Han Kim, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea also attended the grand opening and gave congratulatory speeches.
Mr. Jung Han Kim, Charge d’Affaires expressed his gratitude to the Myanmar Government and Yangon Regional Government for providing support for the success of this project. He also hoped that through Lotte Hotels and Resorts Yangon, a fruitful cooperation between representative companies of Myanmar and Korea can attract more foreign investments and also strengthen exchanges and collaboration between the two countries.
