Performance Activity Visa (C-4-5)

1. Eligibility to apply for a Performance Activity Visa (C-4-5)

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are

A person staying in the Republic of Korea for less than 90 days, who plans to perform in accordance with the Public Performance Act.

2. Required Documents

① Visa Application Form (Fill out online, printed, and signed)

② Physical Passport (more than 6 months valid) & Copy (personal information section with photo)

- For Non-Norwegian or Non-Icelandic passport holders are required to submit a residence certificate (Utskrift av registrerte opplysninger, Bostedsattest, etc) or a copy of residence card (Non-EU citizens) to apply for a visa through us.

③ Recommendation Letter from the Korea Media Rating Board* (영상물등급위원회의 공연추천서)

*A person who falls under the following criteria may exempt from this letter.

• Where the State or local government intends to invite foreigners to hold a public performance in Korea; (국가나 지방자치단체가 외국인을 국내에 초청하여 공연하게 하려는 경우)

• Where a foreign organization or individual intends to hold a public performance in Korea as a religious ceremony or for the purpose of social gathering or research presentation; (외국의 단체 또는 개인이 종교의식·친목 또는 연구발표를 목적으로 국내에서 공연하려는 경우)

• Where a Korean organization or individual intends to invite foreigners to hold a public performance in Korea as a religious ceremony or for the purpose of social gathering or research presentation; (국내의 단체 또는 개인이 종교의식·친목 또는 연구발표를 목적으로 외국인을 국내에 초청하여 공연하게 하려는 경우)

• Where a public interest corporation established under the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Public Interest Corporations intends to invite foreigners to Korea to hold a public performance for the purpose of contributing to the general interest of society. (「공익법인의 설립·운영에 관한 법률」에 따라 설립된 공익법인이 사회 일반의 이익에 이바지할 목적으로 외국인을 국내에 초청하여 공연하게 하려는 경우)

④ Performance Outline (공연계획서)

⑤ Copy of Business Registration Certificate issued by host company in Korea (사업자등록증 사본)

⑥ (For Minors) Parental Consent Form and Birth Certificate/Family Relations Certificate

3. Please Note

❍ Please be informed that it takes about 10 working days to issue a visa after submitting all physical documents to the Embassy. Reservation is required before visiting the Embassy.

❍ C-4-5 visa can be applied for a single-entry visa valid for 3 months. Periods of stay will be granted for up to 90 days for the single-entry visa.
