1. Eligibility to apply for a Short-Term General Visa (C-3-1)

You are eligible to apply for this visa if you are

A person who plans to stay for a short period of time on the purpose of △attending events or meetings, △attending a religious ceremony, △participating in a non-official sport games, △engaging in a training, △taking lessons, △collecting documents for academic research, or any other equivalent activities.

❍ Norwegian and Icelandic citizens can visit the Republic of Korea via K-ETA without the Short-Term General Visa (C-3-1).

2. Required Documents

① Visa Application Form (Fill out online, printed, and signed)

② Physical Passport (more than 6 months valid) & Copy (personal information section with photo)

③ Copy of Residence Card

④ Employment Certificate or Enrollment Certificate

⑤ A document (or an invitation letter) demonstrating the purpose of entry such as attending an event or taking a training program.

※ The document must contain the name, nationality and date of birth of the visa applicant.

⑥ A copy of Business Registration Certificate issued by the Korean inviting institution

⑦ Fee: 400 NOK

*Visa fees vary depending on the nationality.

3. Please Note

❍ Please be informed that it takes about 10 working days to issue a visa after submitting all physical documents to the Embassy. Reservation is required before visiting the Embassy.

❍ The Short-Term General Visa (C-3-1) visa can only be issued as a single-entry visa valid for 3 months. Do not apply for the visa 3 months before entering the Republic of Korea.
