The 16th Korean Ambassador to New Zealand, Mr. Kim Hae-yong presented his credentials to Governor-General, Sir Jerry Mateparae at Government House in Wellington on 3 December.

A career diplomat, previously, he was the Ambassador to Myanmar and the Ambassador for International Relations to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Korea. He was also the chief negotiator of the Korea-New Zealand FTA negotiations in 2009.
