The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Zealand held the 「Korea–New Zealand FTA 10th Anniversary Logo Design Contest」 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the entry into force of the Korea–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in 2025.

The contest was open from Tuesday, April 1 to Sunday, April 13, 2025, and received a total of 88 submissions. After a thorough review and evaluation, the winners of the first, second, and third prizes are announced as follows:

1. Contest Theme

Create an original logo design that represents the significance and cooperation between Korea and New Zealand on the 10th anniversary of the Korea-New Zealand FTA

· The design should be in color but also applicable in black and white.

· It should incorporate symbols, colors, and patterns representing both Korea and New Zealand.

· The design may include text or numbers celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Korea-New Zealand FTA.

2. Eligibility

Korean or New Zealand citizens residing in New Zealand.

※ Winners must provide proof of residence and nationality upon request.

※ Submissions may be made individually or as a team.

3. Submission Method

Submit your entry via email to info-nz@mofa.go.kr with the following:

Name, nationality, contact information, place of residence, and an explanation of your logo’s introduction

※ Logo file attachment (submitted in PDF, AI, or vector format)

※ Bonus points will be given for posting on Facebook or Instagram.

4. Contest Timeline

Tuesday, 1 April until Sunday, 13 April 2025

Results Announcement: Wednesday, 16 April  2025

※ Winners will be notified via email and announced on the Embassy’s website.

5. Awards

· 1st place: A prize worth 300 NZD

· 2nd place: A prize worth 200 NZD

· 3rd place: A prize worth 100 NZD

6. Important Notes

· All rights to the winning designs will belong to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Zealand. The selected logos may be used for all events and promotional materials related to the 10th anniversary of the Korea-New Zealand FTA.

· Entries that are plagiarized, submitted to other contests, or generated using AI will be disqualified and may have their awards revoked.
