Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

Ambassador Choi Sangdae paid a courtesy visit to Mathias Cormann, the Secretary General of the OECD and presented his credentials on 22 September, 2023. 

Recognizing the important role Korea is playing at the OECD, the Secretary General wished to continue the partnership between Korea and the OECD.

Ambassador Choi commended the contributions of the OECD and the leadership of the Secretary General in responding to global challenges. He also explained Korea ‘s policy priorities in digital transformation, energy transitions, demographic changes including low fertility and aging, and affirmed his commitment to enhancing the cooperation with the OECD in the areas of mutual interest.
