Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

Ambassador Sangdae CHOI met with Mr. Takeuchi Yoshiki, the Deputy Secretary General of the OECD on the 27th of September. They exchanged opinions on several key agendas including on innovation in education, employment and labor market in response to digitalization, reform of governance of public enterprises, and efforts to improve quality of life.

In addition, Ambassador CHOI emphasized the Korean government's efforts to attract the World Expo 2030 to Busan and also explained the significance of the Carbon Free Alliance proposed by President Yoon Suk Yeol in his keynote speech at the UN General Assembly. He asked for the OECD's deep interest and cooperation in these matters.
