2025 OECD Ministerial Council Outcomes from June 3rd to 4th

2025 OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM) was held from June 3rd to 4th at the OECD Headquarters in Paris. 

The MCM is the OECD’s highest-level forum, attended by high-level representatives from OECD member and partner countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. Under the Chairmanship of Costa Rica, with Australia, Canada and Lithuania as Vice-Chairs, participants met for discussions this year around the theme “Leading the Way towards Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Prosperity through Rules-Based Trade, Investment and Innovation.”


From Korea, Mr. Keonki Roh, Deputy Minister for Trade Negotiation (Head of Delegation) of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Mr. Kyung-Seul Min, Director for International Economic Affairs Bureau of Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr. Eui-Hae Cecilia Chung, Special Representative for Indo-Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the meeting. Their contribution to the discussions included sharing Korea’s policy responses and experiences in reinforcing open markets and a rules-based international trading system, and other discussions featured building sustainable and inclusive economic growth through innovative policies, strengthening OECD’s global relations, and leveraging the digital economy and advancing AI governance and global collaboration.
