Change in Quarantine Exemption Measure
ㅇ Those who have completed vaccination either in Korea or abroad AND registered its status on COOV* app
- Quarantine exemption is effective as of Monday, March 21st

ㅇ Those who have completed vaccination abroad, but haven't registered its status on COOV app
- Quarantine exemption is effective as of Friday, April 1st
※ In this case, you must register your vaccination status on "Q-CODE" in order to be exempted from quarantine.

ㅇ Definition of Completed Vaccination with WHO-approved vaccines:
1) 14 days have past since the second dose AND within 180 days from the date of the second dose
2) completed a 3rd dose (booster shot)
* WHO-approved vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen (one dose), Novavax, Sinopharm (Beijing), Sinovac, Covishield, Covaxin, Covovax
※ For non-vaccinated persons and those who enter Korea from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Myanmar,
3.21 ~ 3.31(Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Ukraine) / 4.1~(Vietnam, Myanmar, Ukraine)
which are not applied to the quarantine exemption measure,
it is necessary to apply for a quarantine exemption letter according to the guidelines as below

- The company in Korea is required to contact Business Travel Support Centre at www.btsc.or.kr for the details

- The company in Korea is required to contact the relevant Ministry for details.
- Not meant for travellers entering Korea for short-term or long-term study (i.e D-2 or D-4 visa holders)
