Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Jeddah

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of Korea and Saudi Arabia's diplomatic relations, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Jeddah has partnered with the Korean Ministry of Small and Medium-size Enterprises and Startups (MSS) for Jeddah Chamber delegations’ visit to Korea during the period of October 23rd - 27th. The Jeddah Chamber delegations consisted of young Saudi businessmen and representatives from Jeddah Chamber, Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority (SAGIA), and the Saudi Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). During their visit, the delegations met with relevant officials from various Korean government authorities and institutions that support the promotion of Small and Medium size businesses and entrepreneurship. The visit aimed at enforcing economic cooperation of private sectors in new sectors such as smart technology, future energy, healthcare, and venture capital. The delegation also participated in the Business Matching Meetings organized by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) on October 25th and KOTRA on October 26th during the Vision 2030 Business Forum. Furthermore, the delegations’ visit to Korea received extensive media spotlight from both countries with Al-Iqtisadiyah TV Channel covering the entirety of their visit.
