Starting from 1 April, 2023, K-ETA approval is temporarily waived for visa-free foreign visitors (Swedish citizens) to enter Korea.

However, even if you are a citizen of an exempt country (Sweden), you can apply for K-ETA if you wish to apply for other benefits such as skipping the entry form when entering the Republic of Korea. It's possible.
