Slovenia is a beautiful country located in the heart of Europe, where the majestic Alps meet the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. As a member of the European Union (EU), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Slovenia provides a stable political, economic, and social environment. It is particularly known for its sustainable growth driven by advanced industries and eco-friendly policies.
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1992, Korea and Slovenia have steadily strengthened their bilateral ties, expanding dynamic exchanges in economy, culture, education, and science and technology. Following the opening of the Slovenian Embassy in Korea in 2022, the Korean Embassy in Slovenia opened here in Ljubljana in 2025, marking a major step forward in bilateral relations.
Our Embassy will work closely with the Slovenian government, business, and communities to promote economic partnerships and people-to-people exchanges. We are also committed to sharing the beauty of Korean culture through a wide range of activities. By listening to Korean residents and Slovenians who cherish Korea, we aim to serve as a strong bridge between our two nations.
We will do our utmost to protect Korea’s national interests and the rights of Korean nationals in Slovenia, while further enhancing the friendship and cooperation between our countries.
We sincerely appreciate your interest and support.
Thank you!
