The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Trinidad and Tobago invites applications for the 2025 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Graduate Program. We encourage all eligible candidates to apply and submit their applications by March 7, 2025.
As informed by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), the application guidelines for the 2025 GKS Graduate Program will remain largely unchanged. Therefore, applicants should refer to the 2024 guidelines and university list for their applications.

○Duration:
■1 year of Korean language study + Master’s (2 years) or Doctoral (3 years)
○Universities:
■Applicants may only apply to universities and departments listed in the "University Information" document attached to this notice.
■At least one of the three selected universities must be a Type B university from the list.
○Nationality: Must be a citizen of one of the following countries:
■Guyana, Grenada, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago
○Education Requirements:
■Master’s: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or be expected to graduate by July 31, 2025).
■Doctoral: Must have a Master’s Degree (or be expected to graduate by July 31, 2025).
■Applicants expecting to graduate must submit a Certificate of Expected Graduation. Failure to submit the final diploma and transcript by July 31, 2025, will result in cancellation of acceptance.
○Academic Performance:
■CGPA must meet one of the following criteria:
●80% or above on a 100-point scale
●Ranked in the top 20% of their class
●CGPA of 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0 or higher
○Age: Under 40 years old (Born after September 1, 1985).
○Health: Must be in good physical and mental health to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.
○Deadline: March 7, 2025 (Friday) 18:00 (local time)
