The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) for undergraduate degrees in 2026 is open and we encourage everyone who is interested to apply by referring to the attached guidelines and submit your application by mail until October 17, 2025 (Thu) 15:00.

ㅇ Eligibility

   - Trinidad and Tobago National Only

   - Expected to graduate highschool or Associate graduate by December 31, 2025

   - Comprehensive Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 or higher

   - Those who are physically and mentally healthy enough to study in Korea for a long period of time

   - A person with no criminal record and no restrictions on overseas travel

   - Under 25 years old (born on or after March 1, 2001)

ㅇ Application Deadline: October 17, 2025 (Thu) 15:00 (In person, postal applications)

※ ONE original document + THREE additional simple photocopies (Submitted documents will not be returned.)

Please indicate your application by writing "GKS-U application enlcosed" on the envelope.

After mailing, please send an email to hyujlee25@mofa.go.kr with '[GKS-U 2026] Name' in the subject line, with the required documents attached as PDF files.

ㅇ Schedule

   - Application Reception: Until October 17, 2025 (Thursday)

   - Announcement of the first round of successful applicants: Before 24th October 2025

   - Second round announcement: Within November 2025 (Only successful applicants will be contacted individually by University)

   - Third round announcement: By December 26, 2025 (announcement on www.studyinkorea.go.kr)
   - Selection of Universities: January 2, 2025 (Embassy Track applicants who pass the 3rd round selection should notify their final choice of university to NIIED via email)

   - Final announcement: By January 9, 2026 (announcement on www.studyinkorea.go.kr)
