Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

On Friday, September 26, Ambassador Seijoong Kwon participated in the Diplomatic Dialog organized by the Institute of International Relations (IIR) at the University of the West Indies (UWI). He delivered a lecture on the theme "Korea's New Administration's Principled and Practical Diplomacy and Caribbean Region".

Acting Director Dave Seerattan praised the Republic of Korea as a shining model in the history of national development for peace and prosperity, expressing confidence that Korea’s experience could provide valuable insights for addressing Trinidad and Tobago’s economic development challenges.

Through this event, our Embassy sought to share Korea’s commitment to contributing as a responsible global actor, advancing inter-Korean trust-building measures, promoting the E.N.D. Initiative and strengthening Korea–Caribbean cooperation with the many distinguished participants in attendance.
