Today (Aug 28), at the UNSC briefing on Ukraine, Ambassador Joonkook Hwang expressed deep concern on the ongoing dangerous situation at the #Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. 

Amb. Hwang also emphasized that indiscriminate attacks against civilians and civilian objects, including energy infrastructure in Ukraine, which are in violation of international humanitarian law, must be condemned.

Furthermore, he condemned the DPRK for its complicity in Russia’s illegal invasion by providing weapons to Russia in violation of multiple Security Council resolutions, threatening international peace and security in Europe and East Asia.
