On Sep 4, at the UNSC briefing on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question, Ambassador Joonkook Hwang condemned the killing of six Israeli hostages taken by Hamas, and urged the immediate release of the remaining hostages. Expressing grave concern over the worsening conflict in Israel and Palestine, including the humanitarian catastrophe in #Gaza and the Israeli military operations in the #WestBank, Amb. Hwang called for the finalization of the deal to achieve the ceasefire and release of hostages.
