Permanent Representative Ambassador Jihoon Cha stressed that the heaviest burden of ongoing conflicts and wars falls directly on real people, and that the ROK  is determined to uphold the values championed by the #UN: freedom, human rights, inclusiveness, and solidarity amidst this global human rights crisis.

Amb. Cha further emphasized that as the UN moves toward UN80 reforms, the ROK will do its best to ensure that resources and discussions on human rights are not further minimized, but rather strengthened.
