Republic of Korea participated in a media stakeout led by 50 UN Member States regarding Haiti(9.30)

Ahead of the UNSC Adoption on Haiti MSSM Mandate, the ROK, along with 49 other countries, underscored their shared objective of putting an end to the violence and suffering of Haiti.

The 50 countries urged the Security Council to adopt the resolution for a UN Support Office and transition of the Multinational Security Support mission to a Gang Suppression Force, so that Haiti may rebuild strong institutions, restore security, and lay the foundations for sustainable development.
