Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations hosted a reception on June 28 (Friday) at the recently opened Korean Cultural Center in New York to mark the conclusion of its presidency of the Security Council for June. In June, a total of 44 meetings were held, resulting in the adoption of 8 resolutions, 1 presidential statement, and 2 press statements, making it one of the most active and productive months for the Security Council.  Ambassador Joonkook Hwang expressed gratitude for the cooperation of all Council members and the support from the Security Council Affairs Division (SCAD) extended to ROK’s presidency.
