Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations

On 14 February 2024, diplomatic and consular relations were established between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Cuba, through the exchange of diplomatic notes between the permanent representations of both countries to the United Nations in New York.

The decision to establish official relations between both states was made in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, International Law and in conformity with the spirit and rules established in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961.
