Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Anchorage

The Arctic Encounter Symposium 2025, hosted by Arctic Encounter, was held from Wednesday, July 30 to Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage.

Ambassador for Polar Affairs Chung Byung-ha attended the symposium as the representative of the Republic of Korea. Ambassador Chung engaged in discussions with officials from key countries on measures for the peaceful use and sustainable development of the Arctic, with the full support of the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Anchorage.
