Consul General Youngwan Kim hosted a reception at the Consul General’s residence on Monday, August 25, to congratulate Jim McDonnell on his inauguration as the 59th Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). During the event, Consul General Kim emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and mutual trust between the LAPD and the Korean American community to ensure public safety, and extended his sincere congratulations to Chief McDonnell.
