Working Holiday in Korea(H-1 Visa)

DATE
2014-11-18

General Permit Information

Korea has bilateral Working Holiday Visa programs with seventeen countries/region worldwide (and a unilateral Working Holiday Program for the U.K).

These agreements are reciprocal in nature in order to provide Koreans the same opportunities overseas that are enjoyed by nationals from participating countries/region visiting Korea.

The main purpose of this visa is to allow you to have an extended holiday while supplementing your funds with short-term work in Korea.

This is a one-time only visa and allows tremendous flexibility for you to immerse yourself in Korean culture.
Working Holiday Permit Holders are also permitted to study at a private educational institution (=Hakwon) during their stay.

You may leave and re-enter Korea as many times as you wish during your 12 month (maximum) stay.
