■ The Government of the Republic of Korea has announced that Quarantine Exemption
is temporarily suspended as below.
o South Africa : 28 Dec. 2020 - 2 May 2021 (it can be extended)
o Botswana : 22 Jan. 2021 - 6 May 2021 (it can be extended)
■ All passengers entering South Korea from South Africa must have a negative
PCR test declaration in order to enter South Korea (from 1 January 2021).
o The PCR test declaration should be issued within 72 hours before departure.
o The test result certificate should include information such as name of traveller(as per
passport), date of birth and/or passport(ID) number, type of test taken, test date, test
result, date of issuance, the issuing facility name.
o The test result certificate must be either in Korean or English. If the certificate is issued
in a third language, a translated version into either Korean or English as well as a notarial
certificate for the translation must be provided.
o If the passenger received the test result by email, he/she is required to print it and present
to the airline personnel and to the quarantine authorities upon their arrival in Korea.
* Those who fail to comply with the above requirements will be denied entry.

- Suspension of issuing all visas, except Diplomatic, Official, Humanitarian reasons
