Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Canada

Eligible Applicants:

People who plan to attend regular education courses (bachelor's/ master's/ doctoral degree) at college, university or graduate school for more than 3 months. 
* D-2 Visa, must apply in Canada

Required Items: 

1. Visa application form

2. One passport-type colour photo (size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm)
  - white background, must be taken within the last 6 months by a commercial photographer with the date stamp on the back

3. Original and a photocopy of passport (remaining validity of at least 6 months)

4. For non-Canadians only: original and a photocopy of either permanent resident card, work permit, or study permit

5. Certificate of Admission
  - issued by the president of the college or university; the certificate should include the student's scholastic information and financial status

6. Visa fee: CND $78 (cash or money order only) 
7. Certificate from the most recent school attended (enrollment letter)
8. Certified bank statement
  - official account summary letter issued by the bank or bank stamped account statement
     * The applicant's name must be clearly shown on the bank statement.
     * If applicant provides his parents' bank statement, please provide applicant's birth certificate with parents' name printed (issued by Service Ontario, long form)  

9. Copy of the college/ university's business registration certificate (Saupjadeungrokjeung)

10. Documents proving that research activity will be undertaken (for study in particular fields)
