Important Notice

Starting from June 1 2022, we resume issuing a C-3-9 tourist visa. (☞ Click for details)
Nationals of 104 countries/regions who were eligible for visa-free entry now should apply for K-ETA for the issuance of the boarding pass(☞ Click for details)
K-ETA will be temporarily exempted to the 22 countries/regions starting from Apr 1 2023 to Dec 31 2024 (☞ Click for details)
All single-entry visa holders require to enter Korea within 90 days from the issuance date
For Non-U.S. citizen : Tourists in transit (☞ Click for details)
- For Non-U.S. citizen(e.g. China, Mongol, Vietnam, Philippine, India, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Armenia, etc), Tourists in transit to another countries via Korea, can visit Korea without a visa for up to 30 days. This rule does not apply for the nationals of 24 countries(e.g. Syria, Sudan, Iran, Cuba, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Ghana, etc) and who have violated Korean immigration law.
- Eligible Applicants : A person who hold a visa or Permanent residency of U.S. and have a flight ticket that is scheduled to depart from Korea within 30 days.
  - Who go to the U.S. in transit via Korea; or
  - Who stay in the U.S. and take a flight from the U.S. to Korea to go to a country of nationality or a third country.

F-4 (재외동포)	☞ (View F4 Visa information in English) 시민권증서 원본 또는 출생증명서 원본 국적상실/국적이탈 확인 서류 (가족관계증명서, 접수증, 제적등본 등) 국적상실신고가 안되어 있으면 모든 국적상실신고 서류: 국적상실신고서: 1부 여권사진: 1매 시민권증서 원본 외국여권 원본 가족관계증명서: 1부 (또는 제적등본 1부) 기본증명서: 1부 (또는 제적등본 1부) 기본증명서상과 시민권증서상의 이름이 다를 경우: 시민권 뒷면에 Name Change 내용 법원 발급 Name Change Statement 원본 입양판결문 (Adoption Decree) 원본 혼인증명서 (Marriage Certificate) 원본 국적상실/이탈신고가 안되어 있으면 모든 비자 발급 불가 남자가 신청 할 경우: 아래 공지 확인 한국어능력 입증서류 및 해외 범죄경력확인 서류 제출 의무화 동포범위 확대에 따른 동포에 대한 인식개선, 한국사회 정착지원 등을 고려하여 재외동포 비자 신청 또는 체류자격 변경․연장 시 한국어 능력 입증서류 및 해외 범죄경력서류를 제출하여야 합니다. 한국어능력 입증서류(다음 서류 중 어느 하나) ① 사회통합프로그램 사전평가 결과 점수표(21점 이상), ② 사회통합프로그램 교육확인서(1단계 이상 이수증), ③ 한국어능력 시험(TOPIK) 1급 이상, ④ 세종학당 초급 1B 과정 이상 수료증 ① 과거 대한민국 국적 보유했던 사람, ② 60세 이상자, ③ 13세 이하인 사람(형사 미성년자), ④ 재외동포(F-4) 사증을 소지하고 국내에서 3년 이상 체류한 사람 등 한국어능력 입증서류 제출 대상이 1) 제출한 경우 : 체류기간 2년의 복수사증발급(사증비고란에 ‘한국어능력 입증서류 제출 필’ 입력), 2) 제출하지 않는 경우 : 체류기간 1년 이내의 복수사증발급 해외 범죄경력확인 서류 제출 : 14세 이상 외국국적동포 (범죄경력증명 서류요건) 해당 국가의 권한 있는 기관이 발급한 3개월 이내 공적문서로 자국 내의 모든 범죄 경력이 포함되어 있을 것 (미국의 경우) FBI 범죄경력증명서(본인이 직접 발급 받거나 FBI에서 공인한 채널을 통하여 발급 받음)를 아포스틸 확인 받아 제출 (주정부 등에서 발급한 범죄경력증명서도 미국 전역의 범죄경력이 포함되어 발급된 경우 인정) (해외범죄경력 확인 면제 대상) ① 60세 이상인 사람, ② 13세 이하인 사람, ③ 국가유공자(독립유공자)와 그 유족, ④ 특별공로(국익증진) 동포 등 시행일 : ’19.9.2.(월) 공지: 지난해 국회를 통과한 “재외동포의 출입국과 법적지위에 관한 법률” 일부 개정법률이 2018.5.1.부터 시행됨에 따라 병역의무를 해소하지 않은 상태에 서 2018.4.30 이전에 국적이탈이 완료되지 않은 외국국적 동포, 2018.5.1. 이 후에 대한민국 국적을 이탈하거나 상실한 외국국적 동포에게는 40세 되는 해 12월 31까지 재외동포비자 발급이 제한됩니다. 따라서 2018.4.30 이전 1) 한국국적 이탈이 완료되지 않은 경우, 2018.5.1. 이후 1)선천적 복수국적자인 남성이 한국의 병역의무를 해소하지 않은 상 태에서 한국국적을 이탈하거나, 2)한국국적의 남성이 한국의 병역의무를 해 소하지 아니한 상태에서 미국시민권을 취득하여 한국국적을 상실한 경우에 는, 40세 되는 해의 12월 31일까지 재외동포비자 발급이 불가능하며 41세 되는 해의 1월 1일 이후에 재외동포비자 발급이 가능하게 됩니다. 국적이탈 완료시점은 법무부장관이 국적이탈 신고를 수리한 때이며(재외 공관에 국적이탈 신고를 한때가 아님), 국적상실 시점은 미시민권 증서상 의 시민권 취득일임. 개정법률 시행일인 2018.5.1. 전에 이미 한국국적 이탈이 완료되었거나 미국시민권을 취득한 경우에는 현행과 동일하게 재외동포비자 발급이 가능합니다. 다만 병역의무가 없는 여성의 경우에는 현행과 동일하게 재외 동포비자가 발급됩니다. 참고로 재외동포비자(F-4)는 외국국적동포를 위한 특별비자로 한국에서 자유로운 경제활동이 보장됩니다.
F-6 (국민의 배우자)	자세한 사항은 아래링크를 누르시고 '한국인 배우자의 결혼사증(F-6) 안내문'을 참고하시기 바랍니다. 한국인 배우자의 『결혼이민자 초청장』 외국인 배우자의 『결혼이민자 배경진술서』 초청인의 기본증명서, 가족관계증명서, 주민등록등본 원본 혼인관계 입증서류 : 한국의 혼인관계증명서와 미국의 Marriage Certificate 원본 중국 등 제 3국의 경우 호구서 번역 후(영문 OR 한국어) 공증 필요 기존에는 한국 및 결혼이민자 본국에 각각 혼인이 유효하게 성립되어야 했으나, 2014.7.28부터는 한국에 혼인신고만 되어 있더라도 유효한 혼인이 성립된 것으로 인정 재정관련 입증서류 1)소득금액증명서류(국세청발급) - 필수 제출 요망 2)신용정보조회서(전국은행연합회발급) - 필수 제출 요망 3)재직증명서, 부동산등기부 등본, 임대차 계약서, 원천징수 영수증, 사업자등록증명원, 기타 근로 소득이나 사업소득 입증 서류 - 이 중 1가지 필수 제출 요망 한국인 배우자의 여권 원본 (영주권자 경우 영주권 원본) 본인 소득증빙이 안될 시 가족소득 활용 가능 ☞ 『가족의 소득 및 재산에 의한 소득요건 보충신청서』 제출 요망 일부 국가 국민의 경우 호구서 번역, 범죄경력증명서, 건강진단서, 신용정보조회서 등이 요구될 수 있음 *자녀가 있을 시 소득 및 언어능력 요건 재외 ☞ (View F-6 Visa information in English)
