Consul General Lee passed on the Certificate of Commendation the curator of the Powerhouse Museum

On Wednesday 15th February 2023, Consul General Taewoo Lee of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney passed on the Certificate of Commendation issued by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to Min-Jung Kim, curator of the Powerhouse Museum.
Curator Min-Jung Kim, with more than 20 year experience in the Powerhouse museum, has been recognised for her contribution in spreading Korean culture, which includes curating Korean arts exhibitions to commemorate the 50th and 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Australia. Therefore, she has been selected as grantee of this certificate.
Consul General Taewoo Lee expressed gratitude to curator Min-Jung Kim for her efforts to promote Korean art to the Australian community, and asked for a greater role in cultural, artistic exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the future.
