Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney

On Thursday 24th April, Consul-General Yong Jun Choi attended a memorial service in Strathfield to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong. In a speech at the event, Consul-General Choi paid tribute to the Australian soldiers who fought for freedom and prosperity for the Republic of Korea. He also expressed deep gratitude to Strathfield Municipal Council for their efforts to maintain a strong relationship with Korea, which resulted in the establishment of a new monument commemorating the Battle of Kapyong.
