On Saturday 5th July, Consul-General Yong Jun Choi attended the Korean language school teachers workshop hosted by the NSW Federation of Korean Language Schools.
A total of 94 teachers from 16 Korean language schools in the Sydney area participated in the event, held under the theme “Dreaming of Happy Teachers, Growing as Teachers.” The program featured practical lectures aimed at enhancing teachers’ instructional skills and professional development. It also provided a valuable opportunity for networking and the exchange of experiences among teachers.
Consul-General Choi expressed his appreciation for the dedication of Korean language school teachers, highlighting that Korean language schools are not merely places for learning language, but serve as important spaces where young people can cultivate a strong Korean identity and broaden their perspectives as global citizens.
