2025 K-POP World Festival - Cameroon Preliminaries

“Who's the next K-Pop STAR?”

"2025 K-POP World Festival - Cameroon Preliminaries" will be held on July.

All Korean Culture enthusiasts are most welcome to participate in the contest.

I. Overview

-Date: To be determined

-Venue: To be determined

-Type of Performance: ①Vocal performance or ②K-Pop Cover Dance

※ both of solo performance and group performance are available

-Qualification: All Cameroonians (Contestants must not be restricted from travelling overseas.)

II. Application

-How to apply : Send ①Application form, ②Performance Video to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon via email : cameroun@mofa.or.kr  

※ how to send the performance video : any ways that the embassy can find out your video like 

①attaching Video files in the mail, ②Youtube link, ③Google Drive

-Application deadline: Wednesday,  July 16, 2025

※ Applicants should choose one category between vocal and cover dance.

※ For vocal and cover dance, you can choose any K-Pop you want.

- For K-Pop cover dance, original dance choreography is preferable for right judgement.

III. Selection of participants  

(1) For Vocal performances:

· 60%: Vocal Power

· 20%: Clarity &Accuracy of Lyrics

· 20%: Expression

(2) For K-Pop Cover Dance:

· 30%: Choreography, Composition, Uniformity

· 40%: Expression

· 30%: Stage Charisma

IV. Information on Further Schedule after the Cameroon Preliminarie

- The Embassy will give an award certificate and prize to each winning team.

- The Embassy will submit names of preliminary winners(1 vocal winner / 2 cover dance winners) as candidates of 2025 K-Pop World Festival Final(in Changwon, Korea).
