Regarding the Notification of the Visa Issuance
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea informs that the results of visa applications to
enter the territory of the Republic of Korea should be notified electronically through an Internet
Website (www.visa.go.kr) in accordance with
the recent changes in relevant laws and regulations.
If visa applicants still want to receive a confirmation in a written form in regard with the reasons of
visa rejection, then they must visit Korean Embassies or Consulates General where they have applied.

SHORT-Term VISA : BUSINESS (C-3-4)
- Local administrative staff in Korea, foreign enterprises, and employees in investment enterprises.
- Entrepreneurs, individuals and buyers
- Persons invited by public Korean enterprises
- Those carrying out import and export as trade
Visa Requirements
- A valid passport, a filled visa form, a picture
- Documents verifying commercial relations with Korean enterprise (ex. Invitation letter and Guarantee letter by Notary Public, exploitation
license, contract, and receipts of previous import-export),
- Documents relative to the creation of a Korean enterprise (Copy of a registered business license, tax
payer’s card, patente, bank account.etc.)
- Documents relative to the person seeking a visa (ex. Attestation of work, pay slips, mission order
etc.)
Visa Fees: 24000 FCFA (40 dollars)
SHORT-Term VISA : GENERAL VISIT (C-3-1)
People wishing to have a short stay in the Republic of Korea for family
visit, participating in an event or a meeting, culture or art, participation in a religious seminar, etc. (except income earning activity)
Visa Requirements
- A valid passport, a filled visa form, a picture
- An Attestation of work, pay slips for the three last months
- Invitation letter and Guarantee letter by Notary Public
- Flight & Hotel reservations
- A bank account
- Mission order
- Official document stating reasons for visit to Korea
Visa fees: 24000 FCFA (40 dollars)
LONG-Term VISA : STUDIES (D-2/D-4)
Every person wishing to travel to the Republic of Korea for a training course, further studies, etc
Visa Requirements
- A completed Visa application
- A recent passport photo
- Passport
- Certificate of Admission (Official Letter from Korea) and tuition fees receipt
- Business Registration Certificate of the School in Korea
- Certificate Degree & transcripts of the Current or Last School Attended
(notarization needed)
- Documents proving Financial Affordability :
If the Applicant is Not Able to Support him/ herself Financially, s/he Can Submit either parents bank
account along with the applicant's own bank statements
※ Parents Financial Affidavit: photocopy of the parents' passport, Agreement Letter
with signature which explains the parents will fully support the applicant financially, 6 months bank
statement of parents bank account with the balance and birth or family relationship certificate to
confirm the relationship between applicant and supporter.
- An Attestation of work, pay slips for the three last months in case of support by sponsor
- Birth certificate (Student & sponsor)
- Flight reservation
- Visa Fee (Please prepare exact amount)
Visa fees: 36000 FCFA (60 dollars) for a stay of more than 3 months
In the case where the individual seeking the visa wishes to participate in an event or
meeting:
- Document stating the reasons for entry
- Documents relative to the meeting or a presentation document
- Documents relative to the organization (ex. a copy of decree establishing the organization)
- Every person wishing to enter Korea to receive professional training from the Korean government or
enterprise must have a professional visa (D-3).
NB: Visa Fees are non refundable
