2021 Global Korea Scholarship for Undergraduates (Application 17th Sep ~ 9th Oct 2020)

Dear Students,


The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the republic of Kenya has the pleasure to announce that it will receive application for the 2021 Global Korea Scholarship Program for the undergraduates. 


The Global Korea Scholarship for the Undergraduate is aimed at providing international students with an opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies at higher educational institutions in Korea in order to promote international exchange in education and mutual friendship between Korea and Kenya.

 

Under this program, three successful Kenyan applicants (among the applicants to the Embassy) will get an opportunity to undertake their undergraduate studies in Korean universities fully supported by the Korean government.



○ Kindly read carefully attached "2021 GKS-U Application Guidelines (English)" for the qualifications to apply and necessary documents to be submitted along with the attached 'application form'. All forms and necessary documents should strickly follow attached guideline and should be submitted in 4 copies. (Applicants can submit either to the Embassy or University, but no both. If you submit both instiutions, you wll automatically be disqualifed. Please be guided by attached "2021 GKS-U Application Guidelines (English)".)

(Please be informed that all certificates related to the education should be certified by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kenya)


[In case you apply to the Embassy]


- 'Applications to the Embassy' will ONLY be received at the Embassy Between 17th Sep(Thur.) ~ 9th Oct(Fri.) 2020 (at 9AM~12PM and 2PM ~ 3:30PM), Reception,1st Floor, Misha Tower, 47 Wesltlands Road, Nairobi, Kenya


- In addition, attached '2021 GKS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS INFORMATION FORM' should be sent by email to "secretary-ke02@mofa.go.kr' within 48 hours after submitting the applications physically.

 * Any missing of documents after the time of submitting the application can result in disqualification. 


- After the application, If you don't receive any communication from the Embassy by 31st October 2020, kindly consider you are not shortlisted.

- Kindly be guided by attached "2021 GKS-U Application Guidelines (English)".
